SWAN is pleased to welcome John Dempster as Network Operations Manager.
John began his career in several communication and network engineering roles, before moving into a Network Manager post at a large utility firm. Today, John has 19 years of experience in leading large operational teams across multiple business sectors, responsible for delivering complex and critical services to high profile clients.
“Having recently taken on the role of Network Operations Manager in Glasgow, my initial priorities have focused on understanding both challenges faced by the team, but also the needs and requirements of our stakeholders.”, comments John, “The help and support received from all parties has been exceptional and gratefully received.
There are a few challenges to be tackled; particularly around how the team onboard new technologies and solutions, whilst maintaining the high levels of service offered today.
I believe the experience I have gained leading operational teams across a number of different sectors, will enable me to bring a fresh perspective, to continue developing and improving the team’s ability to deliver high quality, customer-centric services.”
During the selection process, John demonstrated a passion for delivering service excellence and maintaining strong employee engagement and satisfaction across his operational teams.
