Shared SERVICES

Our shared services enable you to benefit from economies of scale as well as increasing productivity and collaboration. SWAN will act as the gateway for internet, Janet and PSN frameworks and offer technical services such as DNS, NTP, mail relay, web filtering, remote access plus hardware and support.

Value added SERVICES

We have a broad portfolio of value added services that will be available during the contract period all designed to simplify procurement.

  • Assured services - application and service assurance plus billing-as-a-service are provided as a consultancy service to enable a SWAN customer to deliver a service to another SWAN customer
  • Security & service consultancy - Our professional services and consultancy includes CLAS, ISO27000 and PCI-DSS, support for accreditation, certification or governance documentation, Information Security Management System documentation and ITIL and ISO20000
  • Energy management - EnergyWise Management for IT Hardware
  • Network alert service - Use of the SWAN Service Desk and infrastructure to provide lone worker network alert support to SWAN customer employees, e.g. Social Workers, District Nurses etc
  • On-site services - technical and professional services in the support of the delivery of SWAN customers' on-premise solutions
  • Alternative site connectivity - provision of non-standard site connectivity using satellite-based technologies including 3G and 4G
  • Enhanced connectivity security - additional security provision required to meet the technical requirements in support of IL3, IL4 and IL5 as well as Managed Security Appliances (Reverse Proxy, Firewall etc)
  • Hosted WiFi - for private and public (in building) WiFi
  • Training assessment & consulting services - to support SWAN customers
